Start with the local link
Check whether the student device is on the correct Wi-Fi band, close enough to the router, and not switching between networks. Many short disconnections come from roaming or weak signal rather than cloud access routing.
If several family members are streaming, gaming, or uploading at the same time, the same route may feel unstable even when the remote service is healthy.
Then review client and account state
For a tool such as HSYUN, the client state matters. A subscription refresh, route list update, or expired account session can change behavior without any visible home-router problem.
Record the client version and last refresh time before changing DNS or proxy settings. This makes later comparisons much cleaner.
Use a two-network comparison
Compare home Wi-Fi with a mobile hotspot or a second broadband line. If both fail in the same way, the issue may be account status, service target, or client configuration.
If only one network fails, the next check should be router DNS, parental controls, firewall rules, or congestion during evening peak hours.
